Email marketing is more important ... and more challenging ... than ever. With the rise of mobile viewing, and the ever changing suite of email clients on which your customers will view your campaign, it has become mission critical that your email is designed to the very latest specifications.
We can assist with email design, copywriting, coding, deployment and post-campaign analysis- using your current Email Service Provider (ESP), or suggesting a new one that fits your needs. We work with large clients on large systems, and small clients on small systems - making sure all the campaigns we create utilize the latest standards in email development and deployment.
THE PROCESS We take your collateral materials and develop a set of complimentary email designs that fit your communication needs. Then, either utilizing your existing ESP, or setting you up in a new system that fits your budget and needs, we design, test and deploy your email campaign for you.
We actively support: Exact Target MyEmma Cheetahmail Vertical Response Blue Hornet Constant Contact MailChimp
Using another system? No problem. With years of experience on-boarding ESPs, we'll be up and running on your system within days.
We write. A lot. We write brochures and newsletters and websites ... and wine notes and back labels and email campaigns. We even write user manuals, sales presentations and packaging.
With an English degree and a background in publishing, marketing and public relations, we understand the needs of your wine marketing team. We get your projects, your audience and your frustration when your boss says, "Can't you just whip up the copy for our new 75-page website ... by next Tuesday?"
That's where we come in. A lot of the copy we write is about wine. With years of experience in the wine industry you don't have to explain to us what malolactic fermentation is or why your winemaker is insisting on using the descriptor "cat pee" on your Sauvignon Blanc label.
So if your latest copy project has you tearing your hair out or rolling your eyes (or doing both simultaneously), give us a call. We are fast, accurate, inventive, affordable and available.

Writing wine labels is a bit like writing Haiku ... in a straightjacket ... while drinking. Project requests often sound like this: "We need this copy to really project the irreverent personality of our brand, but also to sound ultra-premium; it is imperative that you include these 48 descriptors the winemaker provided and a thorough description of the appellation. Oh, and the label design will accommodate no more than 14 words."
But somehow, these can be some of the most fun projects we work on. (Really!) Each word has to work REALLY, REALLY HARD to do its job. It's a challenge. And we're up for it.
Need your labels to work harder? Call us! (707) 527-8423.
Whether you think social media is the best thing ever invented ... or a necessary evil you are forced to deal with ... the fact is that social media is here to stay - and it is an ever changing, ever more important way to reach your customers.
Very few companies have a dedicated social media manager. So how do you integrate this channel into your communications?
We can help you get established on key social channels. We can help you set reasonable, achievable goals, then help you ensure you can support your social program, either with internal training or with ongoing support from us.
Pick the low-hanging fruit. Stay aware of important changes in the medium. Understand why people are using social media. And fully commit to key social channels that bring the most return to your brand, rather than trying to be everything to everyone.
Not in the wine industry? We'd still love to work with you! We've written copy for space heaters, blender packaging, margarita maker recipe books, real estate websites and even a user manual for a kegel exerciser. (Ponder that for a moment).
Favorite non-wine project so far? Bouncy violators that sprung off a display of Sunbeam irons at Target that said things like "I'm Hot & Steamy" and "Take Me Home & Turn Me On." (OK - not sure that last one made the final cut, but it was a really fun brand group.)
Working outside of wine allows us to spread our wings - and often we can bring a little humor and lightness to your project.
Let's face it - consumers are less and less willing to read, and they've now been trained to interact in 140 character text blocks that titillate. It's hard for a brand to compete.
Here are just a few of the non-wine projects we've worked on over the years: > Oster My Blend packaging and advertising > CrockPot Facebook project > Margaritaville User Manuals > Skybar Facebook app contest > Sunbeam Irons, Heated Bedding & Heaters > Bionaire Space Heaters > Vice Properties Inc.
